What does the £49 setup cover?
A straightforward website upload or a WordPress installation with your supplied theme, hosting configuration, SSL and connection of your domain. Domain registration is charged separately. Complex migrations, repairs and custom development are quoted separately.
When will my hosting be ready?
We aim to activate and set up your hosting the next working day after your Direct Debit is authorised, once we have the website files, access and information needed. New domain connections can take longer to appear everywhere.
Do I have to use WordPress?
No. These plans are for WordPress, AI-built websites and CMS platforms. You can tell us how your website was built during the guided setup. Node.js is available on our server.
What if I already have a website or email?
You can keep your domain and your existing email provider. We’ll agree the website move and domain settings with you. Moving old mailboxes, complex applications or third-party services may need a separate quote.
What is the commitment?
New hosting plans are rolling monthly. The £49 setup fee is charged once, then your hosting plan is collected by Direct Debit on the 1st of each month. Existing clients keep their agreed arrangements.
Are changes and software subscriptions included?
Website changes, custom-code maintenance, premium themes, plugin licences and other third-party subscriptions are separate. Business and Business Pro include monthly WordPress maintenance and a performance report. Human support is available on working days, 9am–5pm.
How will Direct Debit billing work?
You authorise Direct Debit through GoCardless’s secure checkout. We charge the £49 setup fee once, then your normal monthly hosting price is collected on the first eligible 1st of the month. There is no part-month charge. Domain registration is separate.
