Walnut House

Hoot Media was approached by Walnut House to deliver a website that would deliver tailored content to its 2 target markets – solicitors and the general public. The bespoke website allows users to easily find staff and their specialist service areas, with the member’s profiles changing dependent on the user and their area of interest.

One of the leading barristers’ chambers in the South West with 25 members, including 2 QCs; Walnut House was established in 1972. Positioned in the heart of Exeter, Walnut House serve Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, and further afield across a broad range of disciplines at all Court levels.

Chambers began life in Southernhay West, Exeter in 1971 as the annexe of 4 Pump Court, Temple. In the mid-1980s there was an amicable split from London and Neil Butterfield (as he then was) became the first Head of Chambers before being appointed to the High Court Bench.
